A family business that still makes things.
Since 2002, the family behind SKB has been designing, building and fitting kitchens and bedrooms from Whalley New Road in Blackburn. 24 years on, we still make them ourselves.
Our story
Precise is the German part. The family is the Blackburn part.
We fell for the way German kitchens are made — flush fronts, tight even gaps, storage planned to the centimetre — and decided to build them here, for homes here.
Making our own furniture means we control every stage: the cut, the edge, the drilling and the finish. When it arrives at your home, it's the same team that built it who fits it, adjusts it and walks you through it. If something needs looking at later, you call the people who made it.
Today the same workshop makes fitted bedrooms, media walls, studies and utility rooms — all from the same ranges, so the rooms in your home match.
