Who we are
Stylish Kitchens And Bedrooms Ltd (“SKB”, “we”), 37 Whalley New Road, Blackburn, Lancashire, BB1 6JY, is responsible for the personal information you give us through this website. Contact us about privacy at [email protected] or 01254 659 303.
What we collect
- Designs you send from the 3D designer — your name, phone, email, postcode, notes, the design itself (room sizes, choices and a picture of it).
- Visit requests and messages — your name, phone, email, postcode, preferred day and time, and anything you tell us.
- Job applications — your contact details, what you tell us about yourself and any CV you attach.
- Basic technical information — like any website, our server keeps standard logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security.
The 3D designer works in your browser. Nothing you design is sent to us unless you press “Send my design to SKB”. Your design is stored in the page link, so you can save or share it yourself.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, arrange visits, prepare designs and quotes — because you asked us to (taking steps towards a contract).
- To consider job applications — with your consent.
- To keep the website secure and working — our legitimate interest.
We don't sell your details, and we don't send marketing unless you've asked us to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and designs that don't lead to an order are deleted after 2 years. If you become a customer, we keep your records for as long as we need to for the work, guarantees and accounts (usually 6 years). Job applications are kept for 12 months.
Who else sees it
Only our team, and the companies that host this website and our email. If you click our WhatsApp button, your message goes through WhatsApp (Meta) under their privacy policy. The map on our showroom page is provided by Google and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google may see your IP address.
Cookies
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. The admin area our staff log into uses one essential session cookie.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
